The team at Mello Marine are fantastic. Brought my boat in for trouble shooting. in the 15 years I've owned it its been in the shop every two to tree years to tune it up. Finally I found a dealership service that got it back to where it was when I first bought it. Ben, AJ , and Paul answered all my questions and spent time explaining what could have been the problem. In all my years dealing with other service I've never been more confident in their mechanical knowledge of marine engines.After talking with Ben, AJ and Paul I knew things would be fixed and I was not disappointed . They went beyond the normal time spent with a customer, this is rare. I want to thank everyone involved in the repair of my boat.All the staff I talked to were very polite. This is my go service from here on out. I have no problem recommending Mello Marine to other boaters. Thank you Mello Marine.

My wife wanted to gift me an SUP for father day. We went to all the obvious places: REI, Sports Authority, Big 5, Dick's, West Marine... some had OK brands, all had limited inventory. Found in Craigslist that Mello Marine now carries SUP's - went in to check what they had and was very impressed - largest inventory of SUP's in Northern CA, multiple top of the line brands and great accessories. The sales team was nice, professional, patient and respectful. I educated myself on what I needed to know about SUP's to make my decision. I went with the Boga El Rey for myself and decided to buy one for my wife, the Boga Mahina - both with carbon fiber padles. I tried to negotiate the price - but after researching extensively - they already had a very competitive price; reason why Sally (Owner) could not come down on the price (I was disappointed at first, but it was perfectly understandable). I know I got two awesome boards for the best price possible and can't wait to get them on the water this afternoon (6/23/2016). Do I recommend Mello Marine? Yes I do, but don't expect to find the cheap Costco, Walmart or Big-5 cheap stuff... these guys carry top of the line brands and top of the line equipment at a fair price.
